Senior Gift from the Class of 2024

For many years, the seniors mark the end of their high school rowing career by donating towards a senior gift, a way to pass their legacy to the next generation of athletes in Jackson-Reed Crew.  After consultation with the varsity co-captains, Coach Chris and Coach Justin recommend that the donations from the Class of 2024 families be used to purchase two Concept2 Bike Ergs to supplement our current fleet of Concept2 Rowing Ergs. The bike ergs provide athletes with an alternative workout method if dealing with injuries that prevent them from rowing or running. The machines are high quality and use the same pacing technology as the row ergs, allowing athletes to compare their times even across different outputs.
