From the very first month of 2023, the Dr. Nana Foundation stood out as an excellent medical mission team of dedicated healthcare workers with its first medical mission trip to Sierra Leone on January 24, 2023. This has been followed by our mission trips to some other world’s poorest and most remote places to take care of people in desperate need. This has been the result of the impact your generosity has had in the lives of so many people.

With your help, we can continue to ensure that we are ready for more 2024 global medical mission trips with our frontline medical mission health clinics and teams having the essential medications and health supplies.

As an IRS 501c3 approved non-profit organization, the Dr. Nana Foundation is organized for health, charitable, educational and scientific purposes, engaged in disease awareness, screening / prevention, early detection and care with a focus on increasing access to acute and chronic diseases management resources and shrinking the equity gap for low income and resource challenged populations.

Dr. Nana Foundation activities include health fairs, workshops, monthly newsletters , tele-visit consultation with patients overseas from the United States and medical missions trips from the United States to Africa and the Caribbean basin. The Dr. Nana Foundation medical missions are unique in that they incorporate free screening and treatment as part of a comprehensive medical services delivery.

The Dr. Nana Foundation 2023 accomplishments include:

• Transformation of countless number of lives though free medical services every Saturday in Cameroon in 2023.

• Distribution of free prenatal and children and worm medications at the Dr. Erick Y. Nana Medical centers in Cameroon every Saturday.

• Safeguarding of countless number of lives through diabetes and hypertension screenings.

• Performance of medical mission trips to Sierra Leone in January, Cameroon in April, Gambia in September and Jamaica in October restoring hope and health to thousands as seen on our website: www.Drnanahealthawareness.org.

• Knowledge transfer and exchanges with other Doctors and Nurses abroad providing strength and confidence in the management of patients.
