Living on Purpose - Scholarship Fund

Living on Purpose is proud to establish this scholarship fund to support resilient and determined young people who have overcome extraordinary challenges to pursue their dreams. Olivia will be our first recipient, and we are committed to expanding this fund to help many more foster youth in the future.

About Olivia

Olivia is a 17-year-old early high school graduate who has spent the past four years in foster care after experiencing homelessness and family instability. Despite these challenges, she has remained focused on her education and her future, demonstrating remarkable strength, maturity, and self-advocacy. She is currently taking classes to receive her Associate's degree.

Olivia is highly motivated to attend Paul Mitchell school, with a strong interest in becoming an esthetician. To her, beauty and skincare represent more than a career—they symbolize confidence, healing, self-expression, and independence. She is ready to fully commit to this program, work hard for the year it requires, and build a stable and successful future for herself.

However, as a foster youth with no financial support from family, the cost of beauty school is a major barrier. Olivia is determined to break cycles, work hard, and give back to the community in the future. An investment in her education is an investment in a young person who refuses to let her past define her future.

Scholarship Goal

This fund aims to raise up to $10,000 to cover the full cost of Paul Mitchell school tuition and related expenses for Olivia to pursue her dream of becoming a licensed esthetician.

Your contribution is tax-deductible. Living on Purpose is a registered nonprofit organization, and all donations to Living on Purpose’s Scholarship Fund qualify as charitable contributions under IRS guidelines. Donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
