Washington County Hospital and Clinics is a vital healthcare system because of the vision, dedication, and philanthropic commitment of area residents all throughout our hospital’s history. The hospital started with a gift of an 11-acre tract of land, donated by William Perry Wells in 1912. Today, the WCH Foundation is working hard to keep the spirit of giving alive.

Incorporated in July of 1995, the WCH Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. As the fundraising entity of WCHC, the Foundation serves to inspire philanthropy to enhance the services and to ensure the financial viability of our local healthcare system. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors who carry out the necessary duties of the organization.
