My husband and I found a hawk trapped in a soccer net at one of our daughter’s soccer games. It was tangled badly but luckily the hawk let us come close to it and we were able to cut the net and help free him. The hawk was okay and after he flew off he flew back over us once as if to say thank you. After being so close to this beautiful, majestic creature and seeing how accidents like this can happen- I want to do my part to help support the care and recovery of any hurt hawks.
