Dear Friends of Wright-Locke Farm,

As 2026 comes to a close, we are grateful for so much—especially for the opportunity this year to pause, look ahead, and focus on the future of Wright-Locke with care and intention.

Since 2015, with the heroic community effort to purchase and protect the remaining portion of our historic property, a succession of dedicated farm champions has accomplished one major project after another: building the All Seasons Barn; developing a licensed preschool and kindergarten while expanding educational opportunities for all ages; protecting the 1827 Barn with a sprinkler system; installing solar panels for greater energy independence; and more. All while continuing to grow and provide fresh, local food for our community.

It has felt like a decade-long sprint. And we thank you for helping to make all of these things possible.

Earlier this year, while the farm was as busy as ever, our team was able to slow the pace just enough to look further down the road. With the help of SOAR, a local nonprofit management consulting organization, we developed a comprehensive strategic plan focusing on four priorities that align with our core values:

Protecting the land and historic buildings
Broadening educational offerings
Ensuring financial sustainability
Strengthening both internal and external relationships.

We are confident that the many hours of work will translate into a stronger, more resilient, and impactful community asset. But we cannot accomplish our goals without your help.

So, we hope you’ll pause, too, and consider what Wright-Locke Farm means to you. Perhaps it’s the open space and walking trails. A child’s first encounter with a farm animal. Outdoor education. Fresh, locally sourced, organic food. A place to gather and celebrate, discuss important topics, or simply breathe and reconnect.

Whatever brings you here, you are part of the farm’s landscape.

Please consider making a gift today. Join us in shaping the future of the farm and nurturing the community that grows here.

With gratitude,

The Wright-Locke Farm Team
