At Wet Noses Animal Rescue, we’ve opened our doors and our hearts to older dogs who need more than just love — they need serious medical care. This year alone our vet bills skyrocketed due to multiple surgeries, long recoveries, and ongoing senior care. Without your help, these surgery bills become roadblocks to saving more seniors to give them the comfort, medical care, and forever homes they deserve.

How You Can Help

On Tuesday, Nov. 28 — Giving Tuesday — we’re asking you to join us in a mission: to raise $15,000 that will go directly into clearing our vet bill and funding senior dogs’ care now and in the months ahead.

Your donation doesn’t just pay a bill — it gives a senior dog a pain-free day, a peaceful night’s sleep, a soft bed to curl up on, and the comfort of a warm sunbeam on their fur. Every dollar you give brings healing, hope, and love back to a dog who has already given the world their whole heart.

What Your Impact Looks Like

$ 25 = medication refill
$ 75 = diagnostic X-ray to determine a senior’s mobility plan
$ 350 = dental surgery (one of our larger senior dog needs)
$ 1,000 = fully funds one senior from surgery through recovery and adoption
$2,000 = feed all the dogs in the rescue for 3 weeks (we spend between $650-$700 a week on food)

As of last year, our community helped raise $7,755 — setting a record for our Giving Tuesday efforts. This year, with your help, we’re hoping to double that and fully pay off our outstanding vet bill at Big Bear Vet Clinic.

A: Every dollar goes directly to senior dog care — vet bills, surgeries, diagnostics, and recovery.

Q: Is this campaign time-limited?
A: Yes. This campaign runs through midnight (local time) on Tuesday, Dec 2nd. Thank you for giving before then so we can reach our goal!

Q: Can I make my gift recurring?
A: Absolutely! On the donation form select “Make this a monthly gift” to provide ongoing care for our senior dogs. Thank you.

Q: How will I know the impact of my gift?
A: After the campaign we’ll send a full impact report via email: how many seniors were treated, number of surgeries funded, and stories of dogs healed. We’ll also post updates on Facebook and Instagram.
