Think you know Western New York? How would you like to win an axe-throwing session for your team-of-five to Hatchets and Hops, while simultaneously benefiting a diverse workforce in need?

Join ASPA Buffalo Niagara Chapter - the American Society for Public Administration - for a unique game show fundraiser on Thursday, February 17 at 6:30 PM to benefit the Northland Workforce Training Center's Emergency Management Fund. We're looking for four teams-of-five to play a tournament-style version on Family Feud through Zoom... only, the questions are all about Western New York! (The "100 people" who responded to our survey questions comprised employees with the Cities of Buffalo and Niagara Falls as well as with the Counties of Erie and Niagara.)

HOW TO RAISE MONEY
Think you've got the trivia chops? The four teams who raise the most money (minimum $75 donation among the five individuals) will play head-to-head "WNY Feud" online: two semi-finals games followed by a finals match-up to see who wins a generously donated axe-throwing session for the entire team-of-five at Hatchets and Hops (Downtown Buffalo or Black Rock location).

The cut-off date and time for fundraising is Tuesday, February 15 at 5 PM. At that time, we will tally all fundraising totals and notify the top four teams who will complete Thursday, February 17 at 6:30 PM online. (We anticipate the evening to conclude around 9 PM.)

Create an account on this page and start fundraising - it's that simple! You can simply donate to the general cause, or you can indicate you're donating to support a particular team's efforts to play the "WNY Feud" game on February 17. We will continue to update this page weekly with the top fundraising teams, through the February 15 cut-off.

ABOUT THE CHARITY
The Northland Emergency Support Fund is an emergency resource available to Northland Workforce Training Center students on a case-by-case basis to mitigate unexpected expenses that may affect program completion.
