Hello K-9 Family,

The last couple weeks have been some of the hardest weeks we have had in a long time. An extremely contagious bacterial infection called Mycoplasma has spread through our kennel. Mycoplasma causes a severe upper respiratory infection and needs to be treated for 2-3 weeks with two types of antibiotics. Last weekend we made the responsible decision not to take any dogs from our kennel to the adoption event. Even if they were not showing symptoms we did not want to take the chance of infecting any of the customers' animals.

Every dog at the kennel is on medication; most are on 2 antibiotics and cough medicines. Some of the dogs had this infection so severely they had to be put on sub-q fluids to help with dehydration. Giving all of these medications for 14+ days will cost over $8000. This is on top of the $4000 we still need for the parvo litter from earlier this month.

Needless to say, we are drowning in medical bills. We are begging our K-9 family to please, please consider a tax-deductible donation to help us with these overwhelming expenses.
