IndyAdopts! Rescue Goals

We are ready to take IndyAdopts! to the next level!

Our organization was originally created to offer support to the cats being fostered at Nine Lives Cafe, but as a strictly foster-based organization, we are very limited in the number of cats we are able to help. It has become clear to us that our city is in crisis and the number of cats needing homes and help, far outweighs the amount of space and resources available. With that in mind, IndyAdopts! has decided to start a rescue that will focus on pulling cats directly from our city shelter, assisting the community with additional resources for stray cats, and offering temporary quarantine/housing for neighborhood cats needing a place to recover after receiving medical care.

Unfortunately, big decisions need big funding and our big decision is no exception. The money we are trying to raise will be used to pay for a rescue space, payroll, medical costs, software and administrative costs, a rescue vehicle for transporting animals, and operating costs for the first year of operation.
