Just hours away from homelessness – that's where Amanda found herself last month. After serving honorably in the Air Force, including a combat deployment to Iraq, this 100% disabled veteran faced the unthinkable: an eviction from her apartment and life alone on the streets of Las Vegas.

Like many veterans, Amanda struggled to ask for help. Her military training taught her to be self-reliant, to push through adversity. But sometimes the bravest thing a warrior can do is reach out for support.
