CHHAMH UNIVERSITY

Coffee, Hip-Hop & Mental Health University is the educational arm of a growing movement to reimagine mental health support for Black and Brown communities, especially Black men across generations. This free weekly program is led by a powerful team of licensed clinicians, educators, and people with lived experience who teach real-life skills like emotional regulation, boundary-setting, and generational healing, tools that empower participants to grow, lead, and break cycles.

But this isn’t traditional therapy. It’s a community rooted, culturally grounded space where healing happens through shared stories, mutual support, and collective accountability. In one room, you might find a young man recently released from incarceration sitting beside a nonprofit leader, both walking away with something real.

This is mental health equity in action, where education bridges the gap between race, class, and lived experience. Because when people are equipped with the tools to heal, they don’t just survive, they transform.
