Wheelable Wilderness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to make the great outdoors accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. Your support powers real change—removing barriers and opening up nature for people with disabilities across Kentucky and beyond.

Our SMART Goals for 2025–2026:

• Specific & Measurable:
  We’re raising $100,000 each year to provide adaptive outdoor equipment—like all-terrain wheelchairs, Track Wheelchairs, walkers, and accessible fishing gear—so everyone can experience the freedom of the wilderness.

• Achievable & Relevant:
  Every dollar you give directly funds equipment loans, maintenance, and delivery, ensuring families and individuals have what they need for safe, empowering adventures.

• Time-Bound:
  By December 2026, we aim to raise $400,000 to acquire land and develop Kentucky’s first fully accessible campground. This site will feature ADA-compliant campsites, accessible restrooms and showers, a sensory garden, and inclusive recreation areas for all ages and abilities.
