DEE'S STORY

Prior to coming to Next Door Solutions, Dee felt helpless and alone in her situation. She was in an abusive relationship with someone who she deemed a “monster”. He dimmed the light within her through all the violence and trauma. Fortunately, she contacted Next Door Solutions - we welcomed her in with open doors and open arms. Dee received the assistance she needed in a space where she felt heard and validated. Her advocate worked tirelessly to move her case ahead, so she could start focusing on not only herself but also her son. She realized then, that she was no longer alone.

At Next Door Solutions, advocates help survivors navigate through their tough experiences and provide multiple resources such as: shelter and housing support, therapy, legal assistance, and more. We prioritize our clients' health and wellness as we stick by their side on their road to stability and self-sufficiency. Now, Dee has moved on and is living a life free of violence. She is thriving more than ever before and has been using her story to empower survivors.
