Border Justice Weekend Workshop

This three-day, hands-on Border Justice Weekend is a workshop designed to train community members to be effective local advocates and leaders. The goal is simple: to help neighbors help each other fight local corruption and protect their civil and human rights ahead of the 2026 election. Participants will receive two core trainings: one on fighting corruption and another on protecting their rights.

The weekend is structured to move quickly from learning to action. On Saturday afternoon, attendees will break into small, location-based "Home Teams." Each team will have a mix of skills drawn from interest-based sessions—focusing on issues like environmental justice (clean air, safe water) or waste disposal—to ensure they can tackle a variety of local problems. The event concludes with each Home Team creating a specific, clear, and actionable 90-day plan to solve problems in their immediate neighborhood.
