<p><span style="font-size: 14pt"><strong>Location: </strong>Park Road Park at 6220 Park Road, Charlotte</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt"><strong>Parking:</strong> The main entrance is near the Autobell car wash. Once you enter, look for parking on the left for Pavilions 1 & 2. Please leave plenty of spaces for additional handicap parking closest to the entrance.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt"><strong>8:00 AM</strong> – Gates Open: Ticket holder QR Codes will be scanned. Save time by having it ready upon entry. Then chill out and purchase a morning beverage, breakfast, slush, get your photo, vote on mascot names and be eligible to win a $50 gift card! </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt"><strong>8:45 AM</strong> – Opening Ceremony and group photo</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt"><strong>9:00 AM</strong> – Let's walk, walker or roll up to 5 laps (about 5K)</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16pt"><strong>TICKETS: </strong></span></p>
<p>Tickets are available through Saturday morning! Ticketing and Donations have been streamlined into one easy button! Credit an existing team or individual by selecting the drop down menu on the donation section and follow the prompts to complete your purchase. </p>
<p>Save time and purchase your tickets in advance! Have your QR code ready to scan (your email receipt), or print it, take a photo of it and show it at the gate. </p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt">$15 Teen Ticket & $35 Adult tickets & $125 Group of 5 </span><span style="font-size: 14pt">with free logo, zippered string back pack with ear pod port while supplies last. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt">Kiddos 12 & under are free to attend with parent or guardian. NO bikes, skateboards or recreational scooters, please. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt">$100 Virtual Walk & Rollers Club is a "one and done" $100 donation. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt">The route is paved and handicap accessible with restrooms and pavilions for shade. We encourage people with all abilities and disabilities to attend and celebrate their mobility their way! Everyone can attend whether they are walking unassisted or using a medical mobility device. </span></p>

<p><strong>1) Purchase your ticket or make a donation.</strong> You can credit an existing person or team by selecting the drop down menu under the donation amount. </p>
<p><strong>2. Start fundraising and sharing:</strong> You can customize your FUNdraising message and copy or send it with click of a button after you've created your account and purchased a ticket. You can then "Share & Manage" when you are logged into your account. A minimum peer-to-peer FUNdraising goal of $100 is encouraged per person. </p>
<p>3.<strong> Join us on September 6th at Park Road Park </strong>with group flair, decorate your mobility devices or visit online to view the event via live streaming.</p>

<p>*Please note, this is not a 5K run and only medical mobility equipment is allowed on the walk and roll route - not bicycles or skateboards, etc.</p>

<p><strong>Donor Incentive Gift Qualification Rules</strong></p>
<p><strong>1. Donation-Based Incentives</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Cumulative Total: Incentives are based on the cumulative total of donations per person. </li>
<li>Matching Donations: Matching gifts are excluded from incentive calculations.</li>
<li>Recipients only receive the incentive corresponding to the highest tier they reach.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Individual Donor Incentives</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>$35 Ticket Holders: Receive a lime drawstring bag with a black Assist ME logo.</li>
<li>$100+ Donations: Receive a white ball cap with a full-color embroidered Assist ME logo as our thank you gift.</li>
<li>Local Team Captains will be responsible for distributing their team's caps based as determined by individual donations per team member. </li>
<li>Individual walkers may pick-up their caps at Park Road Park on September 6th.</li>
<li>TBD on pick-up or delivery post-event. We'll notify by email or phone. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Team and Individual Awards</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Cumulative Total: Awards are based on the cumulative total of donations per person for Top Individual FUNdraiser and total teal cumulative total for Top FUNdraising teams. Awards: </li>
<li><strong>Top Individual FUNdraiser:</strong> Wins a two-person party chair with umbrella, table, and carry bag featuring a full-color Assist ME logo. Donations must be received by midnight, September 5th, to qualify. The party chair will be available for pickup at the event unless other arrangements are made.</li>
<li><strong>Top FUNdraising Team:</strong> Awarded a wooden plaque featuring a team event photo and team members’ names, presented to the team captain post-event.</li>
<li><strong>Largest Attending Team:</strong> Awarded a wooden plaque with a team event photo and team member names, presented to the team captain post-event.</li>
<li><strong>Most Festive Individuals, Most Festive Team, and Best Decorated Devices:</strong> Winners receive on the spot awards at the event.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>2. Important Rules & Requirements</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li><strong>Donation Deadline:</strong> All qualifying donations must be received by noon on September 4th—no pledges, only completed transactions and will be announced on September 6<sup>th</sup> via live-streaming. Winners will also be notified by phone or email if not present.</li>
<li><strong>Contact Information:</strong> Donors must provide valid contact details to claim or receive their gifts. If not picked up in person at Park Road Park on September 6<sup>th</sup>, 2025, the items will be made available for pickup at 1350 S. Kings Drive, Charlotte, NC 28226. Dates and times for pickup are TBD. Recipients will be notified by email or text. </li>
<li><strong>Gift Availability:</strong> All gifts are available while supplies last.</li>
<li><strong>Individual Qualification:</strong> Only individual donors qualify for individual incentive gifts; pooled donations or group giving do not count for individual gifts.</li>
<li><strong>Recognition:</strong> All award winners will be announced on social media. Follow <strong>Assist M.E.NC on Facebook</strong> and <strong>AssistMENC on Instagram</strong> for updates and event photos.</li>

<p>Vote onsite for the top name for each of three new Assist ME Mascots for chance to win a $50 gift card. Registration or Email required for submission/notification. You will be automatically subscribed to our enewsletter (no, we won't share or sell your info). You may opt out at any time after receiving your first newsletter. Winners will also be announced via phone or email and social media and our newsletter. </p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16pt"><strong>DISCLAIMERS: </strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt"><strong>No wheeled devices other than medical mobility devices (no e-bikes, skateboards, etc).</strong></span></p>
<p>Event is rain or shine unless called by Mecklenburg County due to public safety.</p>
<p>No refunds. Your registration fees and donations help pay for the event and our continued mission!</p>
<p>Event updates will be made via this site (near top right-hand side of the main page) and through the Assist ME or Assist M.E. social media sites. </p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16pt"><strong>Indemnity: </strong></span>Event participants agree to protect and indemnify the organizers, partners, sponsors, and volunteers, to include, but not limited to, the Assist ME organization, it's board members and volunteers (past and present) the venue, Mecklenburg County, the State of North Carolina, State of South Carolina, and all associated partners, vendors or in-kind donors, from any claims for injury, damage, or a loss as a result of the event. This includes claims from inherent risks of the event. Participants acknowledge and accept all risks of participation.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt">Use of Likeness in Media/Marketing:</span> </strong>Onsite photographers and videographers will be capturing images during the event. By registering and/or participating, you agree for Assist ME, it's volunteers and associates use of your image/likeness or stories (names are not required) that may be featured through social media and marketing purposes, including live-streaming at the event.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16pt"><strong>Subscriptions:</strong> </span>Registered participants will receive an event email update or quarterly newsletter to learn just what we do with your hard-earned donations! You may opt out at anytime. Don't worry, everything is handled currently by ONE volunteer and we will not sell your information. </p>
