Formerly known as River City Domestic Violence Center, Waypost reflects who we have always been: a steady marker along the path for people navigating harm, transition, and healing. A waypost doesn’t tell someone where to go; it reminds them they are not alone on the journey.

This year, that presence mattered more than ever.

In 2025, Waypost walked alongside individuals and families facing domestic violence, sexual assault, and the long-term impacts of trauma. We showed up in moments of crisis and in moments of rebuilding, offering safety, advocacy, education, and hope rooted in dignity and choice.
