Mutual Aid Funds for Immigrant Community Members in Cape Ann and Nearby Communities
Over 1,500 of our neighbors were taken from Massachusetts in May 2025, these raids impacted at least fifteen individuals and their families living in Gloucester. This fall, increased ICE activity is being seen across the state.
Informed by training from LUCE (Immigrant Justice Network of Massachusetts), we—a small group of Cape Ann MA-based organizers—are working to support families and community members who have been impacted by law enforcement at this time both in Cape Ann and throughout the LUCE Hubs across the state.
So far, our mutual aid funds have included help to cover rent, buy clothes and food, and legal fees. We have also supported families by providing rides, connection to some of our incredible local and regional social services organizations, and more.
Directly supporting our neighbors, through funds, items, or time, is one of the most concrete ways to show up. We appreciate donations of any size, including regular reoccurring donations.
Thank you for your support. Please share this page/funding request with your networks, and let us know if we can support any organizing efforts of your own.
In community,
