Each year since 2009, FHC has hosted the much anticipated Back to School Bash (B2SB) which serves to ensure that our most at-risk children are prepared to return to school without medical delay each fall. The event is highly successful and has ensured that over 2,000 children each year are up-to-date with their Well Child Exams and appropriately immunized so that they are able to stay on schedule for the school year.

B2SB has a proven track record of success: families are incentivized to plan ahead early in the summer to schedule medical appointments so they can register to attend the free event in August - which is a cross between a mini-carnival and a block party! Fun activities include bouncies, a petting zoo, raffles, games, prizes, music & dancing with a live DJ...there is even a barber offering free haircuts, plenty of food & drinks and loads of educational opportunities.

Every registered attendee also receives a deluxe backpack filled with free school supplies as well as a personal care kit filled with free toiletries. Families are invited to spend the day having fun and being carefree - for many it's the only "vacation" they get all year.

Your support allows this event to remain free for the whole community. Sponsorship levels range from $500-$25,000 and provide a wide variety of recognition opportunities for your company. Individual donations can be made anonymously or in honor of a special person in your life. FHC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization so please be sure to alert your tax preparer about the gifts you make. We are simply delighted to have you partner with us!
