Description: The 2023 Annual Recital of Dance Project of Washington Heights features students from their Winter/Spring semester. Diverse classes, such as tap, ballet, jazz, musical theater, Latin dance, hip hop, breakdance, and our Ensemble program, culminate in a cycle where 143 extraordinary young performers will take what they’ve learned and share their progress with friends and family on stage.

We have all been through a journey, and the world is not the same. It is important to have a space we can call home—a place where we feel safe, supported, seen, heard, accepted, and welcomed.

Dance Project provides that space, where we can be ourselves and connect with others who share our love and passion for dancing. Every child deserves the opportunity to participate in a dance class, no matter the age, gender, background, culture, and socio-economic status. What matters is our love for dancing and the power of a united community. All walks of life are welcome at Dance Project, where we belong.
