This year's Giving Tuesday worldwide feels different. It is.

Mientras unos preparan la mesa para la cena navideña, otros están escondiendo sus identidades y rezando por no ser encontrados. As the holidays approach and families gather around tables, some are holding onto hope that their loved ones will still be home.

The same systems that target our immigrant neighbors are attacking the rights of trans people, of women, of anyone whose existence challenges control. It’s all connected, the surveillance, the laws written to divide and silence. And we refuse to accept a world where any of us can be targeted and others stay silent.

Fear is being used as a weapon. We’ve seen it on the news, in the streets, and in our clients’ voices; the threat keeps growing. People in plain clothes, masked and unmarked, are taking neighbors and loved ones from their homes. This is deliberate. It’s part of a system built on racism and hate. A system that disappears people to keep others afraid, one that tries to divide us where our real power lives: in community. It wants us to believe there’s nothing we can do. But we can. And we will.

The system doesn’t wait. When someone doesn’t have a lawyer, hearings go forward and deadlines close. A family’s future can change in a single morning. Your donation today helps make sure someone has help this week, before that chance is gone.

What your donation can do?

$1–$15: Help cover transportation costs.
$16–$30: Aid in distributing educational materials.
$31–$60: Submit an urgent application to immigration court or USCIS.
$61–$100: Fund a consultation for a child navigating the immigration system alone.
$101–$250: Provide an interpreter for an indigenous family.
$251–$400: Help cover the costs of a work permit application.
$401–$1,000: Cover the cost of an expert witness to strengthen an asylum case.
$1,001–$2,000: Secure a green card for a single mother and her children.
$2,001–$5,000: Ensure free legal services for an individual in removal proceedings.
