Sea otters and ocean conservation are near and dear to my heart. While I don't live near the Oregon coast, I would love to see sea otters return to the full range of their historic habitat (Bay Area, I hope you're next!).
I know first-hand from my time living near Morro Bay, the joy these animals bring to both locals and visitors (did you know they can be a huge tourism and economic development boost for communities?) , and the crucial role they play in keeping our oceans healthy as a keystone species.
When I learned about the Elakha Alliance and their mission to restore sea otters to Oregon’s coast, I knew I had to be involved, even in just this small way. Join me?
