I'm a Senior on Whitman Crew, and I've been rowing all four years of high-school. Crew has become one of my largest commitments, and has taught me important lessons while giving me the opportunity to be surrounded by my awesome teammates. The mix of rigorous fitness and a tight knit team environment has allowed me to grow into the best version of myself, physically and mentally! Whitman Crew is one of the largest and only year-round sports offered to Whitman high school students. As a club sport, we receive no financial assistance from the state of MD, Montgomery Co., or Walt Whitman High School. We rely on the generosity of family, friends, alumni, and community partners to ensure the continuity and ongoing improvement of our team in a sustainable way.
