This weekend’s ice storm has impacted families across parts of the United States.
In response, Beyond the Verse is opening a temporary community relief fund to help those facing immediate needs.

This fund is intended to provide direct assistance or support through verified local relief partners.

Any funds not used for storm relief will be donated in full to Extra Life, continuing our long-standing commitment to helping others.

This is not a promotion—just an opportunity for our community to take care of people when it matters.

The fund will remain open through Saturday, January 31, 2026.

This fund exists to support individuals and families impacted by the January 2026 ice storm with immediate needs, including:

• Food and basic necessities

• Temporary lodging

• Utility assistance

• Recovery essentials

Eligibility

Assistance may be provided to:

• Individuals or families directly affected by the January 2026 ice storm

Support may be distributed:

• Directly to verified individuals in need, or

• Through vetted local organizations actively responding to storm impact

Fund Duration

• The fund opens immediately

• It will close on Saturday, January 31, 2026

Distribution

Funds may be:

• Distributed directly to verified individuals in need, or

• Donated to trusted local relief partners supporting storm recovery efforts

What Happens to Unused Funds?

Any remaining balance after the fund closes will be donated in full to Extra Life.

Transparency Commitment

After the fund closes, Beyond the Verse will publish:

• Total funds raised

• A general summary of how funds were allocated

• Confirmation of the Extra Life donation (if applicable)

No salaries, merchandise, or operational costs will be funded through this effort.
