I am hiking to honor the family who donated their son's liver to me so I could live on in spite of cancer. I am hiking in remembrance of my aunt and brother who both succumbed to the ravages of cancer. I am hiking for my family members who do not have cancer, and I pray to God never will. And, finally I am hiking to promote the spirit of unity in our county in the hope we will fight all cancers physical and social. United we stand, divided we fall. We are stronger than cancer, if we remember that. No one is ever turned away from Survivor Wellness House.
