KO is an inclusive community helping people with diverse talents and needs achieve their musical goals. Our programs empower participants as they experience the joy and therapeutic effects of music, in a safe and respectful environment. 

The Know Obstacles (KO)  band has actually evolved into 3 bands with monthly rehearsals and year-round gigs, the Open Mic and Comedy Hour, and the KO Music Camps. Steve Osburn has dedicated himself to this passion project for three decades, which he has seen grow into an army of special musicians and composers who have built a supportive community at Oz's Music Environment in Ann Arbor.
