Support the Adirondack Performing Arts Center: A Cultural Renaissance in Ticonderoga
The Adirondack Performing Arts Center (APAC) is transforming Ticonderoga into a vibrant hub of artistic expression and cultural engagement. Our vision is to revitalize the historic Knights of Columbus building, filling the void of a year-round performing arts venue in our community.
Owned by the North Country Rural Development Coalition (NRDC), APAC will be operated as a nonprofit partnership between the Knights of Columbus, We Are Instrumental (WAI), the Ticonderoga Festival Guild, and NRDC. This collaboration aims to create a dynamic environment where arts and culture flourish, driving economic growth and attracting visitors to our downtown.
Our Vision for APAC:
Third Floor: This historically preserved space will host an array of performances, from theater and opera to bands and ballet, making Ticonderoga a key destination for performers from Montreal to Saratoga.
Second Floor: Dedicated to "We Are Instrumental," this floor will nurture the student lesson program, run a musical instrument repair shop, and feature a state-of-the-art recording studio, fostering musical talent and innovation.
First Floor: The Knights of Columbus will continue to operate as the venue's in-house caterer, supporting its impactful community philanthropy and programs.
Why Your Support Matters:
Your donation will directly support the operating fund needed to hire dedicated staff and implement marketing strategies crucial for APAC's launch. By contributing, you are helping create a space that not only provides exceptional cultural experiences but also serves as an economic driver for Ticonderoga, enhancing our community's appeal to residents and tourists alike.
Join us in bringing APAC to life and making Ticonderoga a beacon of arts and culture. Together, we can create an active and vibrant community space that enriches lives and fosters creativity.
Thank you for your generosity and belief in our vision!
