The Psychological Killing of a Parent - Defining Parental Alienation in parallel with the DSM5 Diagnosis of Psychological Child Abuse

This is an urgent request for HELP. If you are a protector of children, believe in the sacred bonds between parents and children then PLEASE STAND UP NOW AND COME FORTH!

1. Do you believe that in many cases that the parent with the most money can bully their way through the family court proceedings and get unfair treatment based on the size of their wallet and not the character of their heart?

There is a name for this “Pathology” that has not been embraced by the the court system or mainstream psychology and psychiatry. The name is "Parental Alienation." It is a passive-aggressive, slow creeping, painful existence for sons and daughters and mothers and fathers across the country? Some children and some adults never recover from the trauma of being erased from the bonds they formerly knew as "family." These stories will give you chills; especially if you walk in these shoes and think of protecting your own children.

This story is being written to raise awareness and money to contribute to the "Safe Harbor for the Children" and start a broader conversation about certifying qualified psychologists, psychiatrists, specialty therapists and other mental health professionals on how to properly treat and diagnose this pathology in their courtrooms, arbitrations, mediations and within the home.

The Story of "HER"

This story is being written without the use of the specific names of the parents or the children involved to protect their ongoing case and their safety. The person who is sharing this story with you personally can disclose information about the family. The initials MG are used to identify the mother in this story.

Who is MG and who are her children?

MG is a Mother of two children. She has been photographing children and families for the last 16 years and is a trusted professional. She is a kind, gentle, animal lover who is remarkably giving and charitable with her time, energy and spirit. She loves her children and would give her life for either of them. She is now fighting for her life to save them both.

MG's daughter was the first child in this family to experience this silent pathology at the hands of her father and now her son is being indoctrinated in the same fashion. She has not seen or heard from her daughter in 8 weeks as the father is withholding her and violating the order from the courts that is established and agreed upon.

The father is continuing to levy baseless claims through his attorney to willfully distract MG from enjoying the normalcy of participating in the court-ordered parenting plan. The father has filed several custody hearings since divorce settlement over two years ago in an effort to gain more custody of the children and take away Mothers primary decision rights. Denied by the courts on all counts, he continues to dismiss their consistent warnings to cease baseless litigation and has cycled through four attorneys and is now on his fifth in an effort to find one who will comply with his narrative. The court system has told him not to bring another custody challenge back to the courtroom. It will not be heard. The father is now trying to fire the Guardian ad Litem and change the court venue to a different county to start with a clean slate. The Mother has tried hard to send the daughter to a treatment facility on the west coast to treat her psychological abuse to get her out of the situation and away from the conflict. The mother has full medical power of attorney yet the father is still bullying his way around her authority. The father insists the child "needs to be with him" and will not cooperate in co-parenting and putting healthy options in front of the child that will help her.

After signing a court ordered parenting plan establishing joint physical custody and the Mother primary legal, the mother asked the father and the court moving forward to please concentrate on helping the children therapeutically as opposed to continued litigation for custody. She declared upon this agreement that there should be no more litigation and focus should be put on helping the children in intensive therapy. The father denied this request and is now back in court with a new attorney, in a new venue doing it all over again.

This is playing out in front of the children and continuing to damage them and their family relationships. The children are being erased from the Mother, the lives she has created for them, everything they love, and the friends and family that are an extension of her. It is crushing the financial stability of the mother who has to concentrate on protecting her children while working, keeping a family home, and caring for them.

In this case, MG was asked if she would agree to send her daughter to a treatment facility where she could get the help she needs. This means not having physical custody of her child and not having her daughter in her home. She simply replied; “I would do anything to get her the help she needs and away from the situation for as long as she needs. If that means she is not with me, at least I know she is getting the help she deserves.” The other parent was refusing to agree to this type of help and says the child needs to be with him.

The child has not been in school this year one day and is now 26 days truant / suffering educational neglect under the fathers care. The child was excited about graduating early. She was an "A" student last year hopeful for dual enrollment for early graduation to attend the college of her dreams. She is now in danger of not even being able to pass this grade and is not eligible under state law to obtain a drivers license. She has been withdrawn from all school and extracurricular activities and is being withheld and isolated by the father. When she is seen by friends and family she is barely recognizable, withdrawn and anxious. She is suffering at the hands of her Father with the sole intent of alienating her from the mother. This is child abuse.

This family needs your help now. Litigation is necessary.

In many cases, money is continuing to be poured into custody cases where a parent is trying to win sole custody of a child when the real answer is therapeutic treatment for the family unit. Hear this again!!!! Spend money on treatment, not winning children and alienating parents who love those children. Because nobody wins.

Family courts and psychology at large are used to dealing with physical child abuse. These behaviors are well documented and understood and there is zero tolerance for them. When it comes to "parental alienation" /psychological abuse the lines are less clear and in some cases the courts don’t know what to do about it. The courts can only see what is happening on the surface and what the alienating parent is claiming (abuse, neglect, etc) and are ill-equipped to deal with the severe mental abuse that is occurring beneath the surface.

Many times this abuse is happening in the home. The alienating parent uses their time, money and voice to slander and position the other parent. The other parent is painted out to be a monster to slowly indoctrinate children with half-truths and lies to get them to reject their authentic parent. This brainwashing is like taking candy from a baby. It is heavily compared to Stockholm Syndrome. No one should be able to brainwash a child and smear a parent to the point where their child is actually afraid to show love to the parent for fear of what would happen to them by their jailer. Yes, I said Jailer. If you have ever seen this pathology it could easily be identified as a hostage situation.

"Safe Harbor for The Children" needs your help and they need it now. Well over 200 K has been spent thus far to protect MG's children and the courts do nothing but continue to perpetuate the financial drain. When parents run out of “all of their money” the attorneys who were at their every beck and call will just withdraw from the case leaving the parent with no options to protect their children. The long term answer here is to put the incestuous nature of courts and attorneys in check. Finances need to be directed to help the family unit, not financially and spiritually crush them. There are champions out there like you that want this shift to occur as much as they want to breathe.

MG's Kids are suffering. She is suffering. The children need help now. With your help, a new approach can be built and this case can end with the children being in a safe environment and getting the help they need to recover.

Judgement of Solomon

Solomon, King David's son, was required to decide which of two women was the mother of a baby, when each of them claimed parenthood. Both had recently given birth, but one child had died. The story is recounted in the Old Testament (I Kings 3: 16-28).

Solomon announced that the child should be cut in two, so that each mother should have half. The real mother, unable to bear her son being killed, immediately offered it to the other woman, to save the child's life, whereas the other agreed to the proposal. The false mother was thus exposed, and Solomon returned the living child to its real mother.

Solomon's judgement showed his wisdom.

This story is so much bigger than what I am able to communicate today. It reads like a horror movie with a psychological stalker as the main character. Parental Alienation and the clinical mental child abuse that comes along with it must be brought into the mainstream.
