It's that time of year again. The temperatures are dropping, fall colors are starting to pop, and I sneak into your email to remind you October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

In honor of the pink ribbon month, I have organized a charity happy hour in which 100% of all donations and pink wristbands will be donated to Breast Care of Washington DC. This is a local organization whose mission is to reduce breast cancer mortality in the DC area by promoting access to breast cancer screening, diagnostics, and treatment to all women regardless of their ability to pay. This organization was specifically designed to overcome current barriers that prevent low-income, medically underserved men and women from receiving high-quality breast care.

Breast cancer is a disease that my family is way too familiar with, so I am always inspired to raise awareness, money (click the button in the top right) and shout from the rooftops the importance of self-exams/screenings for everyone. With every donation and wristband, I will think of my mom, my aunts, those who have lost the battle, those we can save with early detection, and those who fight fearlessly every day! xx
