Martha Assefa's Story
Near and dear to my heart, the Irob, an indigenous ethnic minority group in Tigray have been greatly affected by the ongoing genocidal war waged on Tigrayans. Geographically isolated in the highlands, the people of Irob are facing irreversible destruction and possible erasure by way of famine and a lack of life saving medicine. This fundraiser aims to help reverse some of the damage that has been done to those who severely need it, namely women, children and elderly.
