End of Year Appeal - Arts Missoula

Thank you for being a supporter of Missoula's local arts and cultures!

Arts Missoula has had a transformative year; we’ve seen a lot of growth and change as we continually adapt to serve Missoula’s dynamic creative landscape.  

Missoula is a special community; we want to uplift the artists and creatives whose work makes it unique.   

We’re aiming to raise $10,000 before January 31st to support our programs in 2025. 

As we look to the future, Arts Missoula is focusing in on making our organization as effective as we can be in our mission.

Your support will help us to: map resources and gaps in our community to get a clear picture of what currently exists and what we need to work towards building, offer professional development education and resources for working artists, who make up a core pillar of Missoula’s economy, and provide occasions for celebration that put the accomplishments of our creative community in the forefront. 

The thing about supporting the arts is that the returns are manifold; 

the ripple effect of a single grant awarded to one artist can lead to multiple workshops, and the outcomes of those workshops might be new connections and sparked inspiration, leading to new collaborations, new projects, and new organizations and performances– and onward and outwards. Artists drive change and connection; they build bridges between perspectives and translate experiences into something that can be shared; they demonstrate how creativity can help us heal and how it brightens our everyday lives. 

72% of Americans believe that “the arts unify our communities regardless of age, race, and ethnicity” and 73% agree that the arts “helps me understand other cultures better” — a perspective observed across all walks of life. 

The present moment is an exciting time for Arts Missoula and we're so looking forward to meeting you, getting to learn your stories, and working with you to make Missoula’s arts and cultures all that they can be. Together, let's demonstrate our commitment to fostering a thriving arts scene in Missoula and empowering artists.
