Growing with Grace has been a passion project for many years and was officially established as a 501(c)(3) in May 2025. The concept of "Growing with Grace" began as a personal mantra of mine as I navigated the challenges life dealt me; Guiding me as I broke the cycle, graduated with a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation and become a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Little did I know that those three words would become the driving force behind my true passion as a Recreation Therapist, to utilize the Animal-Human Connection to transform lives and foster the achievement of optimal wellbeing. 

Our mission is to support public servants, healthcare workers, veterans and all members of the community in overcoming trauma and mental health challenges. We are seeking funding to help aid in bringing this passion to fruition. The impact of campaigning for a donation of this size would directly enable our organization to provide 50 free visits, allowing us to begin making a tangible impact in our community. These sessions will offer individuals the opportunity to experience healing, connection, and resilience-building through structured therapeutic recreation programs and animal assisted interventions.  

As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that therapeutic recreation and animal-assisted interventions can have on individuals struggling with mental health and trauma. Your support would be instrumental in helping achieve our mission of optimal wellbeing for our communities.
