Bramhall Tree Planting
For years, the mighty oak at Bramhall Park stood watch over our Momentum circles — a silent witness to our growth, our challenges, our brotherhood. Due to drought stress, that tree was felled. A powerful symbol, now gone.
We want to bring life back to that space. One that will grow alongside our future generations of Momentum men. To make that happen, we’ve partnered with Our City Forest (OCF) — who specializes in planting and maintaining urban trees. They’re already in discussions with the Parks Department to cut through the red tape, identify the right species, and secure planting approval. Our hope is to be able to plant two tress one in the grove and one on top close to our circle up area.
How You Can Help
OCF offers a cost-effective path to planting, and every contribution brings us closer to restoring what was lost. The plan is for two trees. One near where the flag is placed for our meetings and one down in the grove. The planting is planned for some time in October.
Click “Donate” and let’s help make Bramhall Park continue to thrive for generations to come.
BUT, it's not just the cost of the trees–volunteers are needed for planting and all the care and watering needed to keep them healthy and strong. We need you! Please contact Robbie Bow ([email protected]) to become a volunteer for planting and watering.
