Over 500 million children have never had a toy. It's a really big number and we're doing what we can to change that. Our toy cars are all made by volunteers, from scrap wood! That includes many of you! And due to some truly amazing donors we don't have to pay for the scrap wood, or the glue, or the wheels. But we do have to pay for each screw that goes into the wheels. This is our greatest cost, twice a year.

It's because of the dedication of these volunteers, and donors and you that we can afford to keep making these toy cars. These Mayan Chorti boys received cars this Christmas in Honduras, and they were a big hit! Never had there been so great smiles! With 4 wheels that turn on the axel screws, these boys are driving far and learning and developing in ways they couldn't even imagine before.
