Xanders Support

In the Spring of 2012, Jeremiah's Hope hosted a conference for ministry leaders working with orphans from across Ukraine.  Among the guests at the conference was Alexander (Xander) Petrov.  At the time, Xander was serving as a translator and ministry leader with a team of Americans in Sumy, Ukraine.  They had a drop in center for orphans, but Xander was looking for something more.

That summer, Xander came to serve as a translator for our summer camps.  As the summer progressed, it was clear to the Jeremiah's Hope team that Xander would be a fantastic addition to our ministry team.  At the end of the summer, as we were about to open our new Rescue Shelter for children in crisis, we offered Xander an opportunity to serve alongside us.

Today, Xander serves as the Director of our Rescue Shelter and is the legal guardian of all of the orphans who are entrusted to our care.  He has been become the kids father figure, advocate, friend and protector.
