For 2025, Stowe Kids Give is supporting the Westford Food Shelf and its mission to ensure that every neighbor has access to nutritious food when they need it. Operating under the fiscal sponsorship of the Westford Common Hall, the Westford Food Shelf serves the rural Vermont town of Westford—a close-knit community known for its natural beauty, small-town character, and strong tradition of neighbors helping neighbors.

In a town of just over 2,000 residents, dozens of Westford families and individuals quietly face food insecurity each year. The Westford Food Shelf exists to make sure no one faces that challenge alone. By providing healthy, reliable, and dignified support, the Food Shelf strengthens the fabric of our community and reflects the values that define Westford: compassion, connection, and collective care.

This is an all-volunteer organization that has operated this way for 17 years—ensuring that every dollar donated goes directly to serving our community.
The organization supports roughly 20 households each month, with no paperwork or eligibility requirements. This intentional choice removes barriers so anyone facing a need can access food with dignity and without hurdles.
All funding goes toward purchasing food and grocery store gift cards, enabling households to buy perishable items, toiletries, and other essential supplies tailored to their needs.

Stowe Kids Give is a kid-led, volunteer-driven initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for causes that matter to the next generation. Founded in 2023 by then-10-year-old Gabriel Robert Letorney, the program brings together kids (ages 17 and under) who want to make a difference, support meaningful causes, and learn to fundraise for nonprofit organizations.
