Frenchie was thrown out like trash. This sweet, young girl was taken to San Antonio ACS and was due to die on Saturday, on the euthanasia list at one of the country's most over populated high kill shelters.

A family from the north asked us to pull her from the shelter because they want to adopt her.So we did.

However, the shelter did not know that she was pregnant, and very far along.

We had the choice to still take her into our rescue. We also had the choice to take her babies or leave them with the shelter. We immediately decided to take them all into the rescue.

Frenchie gave birth yesterday at the shelter to 7 puppies. As of now they're doing well. We will keep them all together for several weeks and then find them all loving homes. They will leave the shelter today to go to our experienced pet sitter

Mama will eventually go to her adopter in the north. And her babies will need homes.

Mama Frenchie and her sweet babies need your help. They will all need to be vetted, spayed/neutered, vaccinated. They will need to be transported to and from the vet and also out of state eventually. They also need food and supplies.
