MPWRD Academy

Momentum Collective partners with the city of Alexandria's recreation department to produce two musicals annually. Over the course of several months, youth not only learn performance materials but receive theater arts training from a team of seasoned teaching artists. These musicals are open to the city's youth between the ages of 8 and 16, many of whom also attend out-of-school time programming at various recreation centers. There are no costs associated with participation in the productions. Your financial support would help us underwrite production expenses including costumes, prop items, set building, licensing fees, and refreshments for the upwards of 50 youth in the cast.
