At Junta for Progressive Action, we have spent more than 56 years doing something simple and radical at the same time: showing up.

Showing up for 1,700 immigrant and Hispanic families every year with free food pantries, after-school programs, English language classes, financial literacy workshops, and bilingual social services. No price tag. No barriers. Just community.

This year, we need your help more than ever.

In the span of a few months, Junta has faced two significant blows:

🔴 We lost $100,000 in funding — funding that directly supported the programs families depend on.

Despite all of this, we are still here. Our team showed up this week — in the heat, with fewer resources, and with the same commitment we have carried for 56 years.
