When Areli first connected with the Latino Academy of Workforce Development, she brought big dreams but faced uncertainty. She wanted to grow professionally, achieve financial stability, and ultimately build a future she could be proud of. With the Latino Academy by her side, Areli transformed her dreams into achievable goals and her goals into life-changing accomplishments.

Through programs like Computer Literacy, ESL, and the Business and Contractor Accelerator, Areli gained the knowledge and tools to succeed. In the Business and Contractor Accelerator, she earned industry-recognized certifications, developed a business plan, conducted a SWOT analysis, and enhanced her online presence. These skills moved her closer to her ultimate goal of starting her own business.

But her journey didn’t stop there. Areli took a bold step and joined the CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) program alongside her son, and together, they received personalized, one-on-one guidance at every stage. Today, Areli and her son hold their CDL and have secured a well-paying job. For Areli, this opportunity gave her the financial stability she once only dreamed of and the foundation to establish her own trucking company in the future.
