The mission of Open Arms 101 is to alleviate the effects of poverty and health disparities among senior citizens (#AdvanceFolk) in the South Suburban Cook County and Chicagoland areas by providing door-to-door, in-person case management support services through outreach, distribution of basic needs care packages, and health education and wellness to reduce poverty and promote the well-being, healthy aging, and independence of the elderly while strengthening their dignity and self-respect, and encouraging their contribution and participation in community life.

Your generous donation helps us to provide much-needed services of basic need items as well as food, health literacy, and programs targeting high blood pressure and high blood sugar. We serve the #AdvanceFolk (elderly) who are struggling to make ends meet and sacrificing food to pay for their medicine.
