Each year, Invisible Histories selects 8-12 community-based individuals/organizations to become an Invisible Histories Memory Keeper. (IHMK). IHMK selectees will enter a yearlong project wherein they will collect at least THREE oral histories within their own local community. IHMKs will attend three training sessions that will prepare them to conduct their oral history projects. They also receive an oral history packet and phone microphone to assist them documenting their community’s history.
