I have worked with Friends of Blackstone School since 2017, when I joined to help better connect the neighborhood school with the existing stakeholders and institutions in the surrounding community. I'm passionate about providing the staff, students, and teachers with the resources that they need, but I also sincerely believe that the school building and community is a centerpiece to a vibrant and sustainable community. Having seen first hand the power and lessons that can come from getting students out into the neighborhood and neighbors into the schools, I am proud to be a part of efforts to help the Blackstone School succeed. I know that my support through Friends of Blackstone School is going directly to where it is most needed and value being a part of this supportive community effort.
