Elliot Simmons-Uvin's Story

We all remmeber the first time we tried something new...right? If we enjoyed it enough we wanted to participate again, and again.

i spent the last six years rediscovering that I find most joy and happiness working with young people and adults, especially through snowsports. You have the ability to grow their confidence, expose tyem to a different reality, and let them dream.

I am dedicated to creating access to the outdoors for youth that dont always have the opportunity of "the first time i tried "x" "

Thus once again Ive collaborated with , Indigenous Peoples Day Newton , Whaleback Mountain , Youth Enrichment Services (YES), Share Winter, and Native Leaders to host an Intertribal Youth Ski Trip for youth from various indigoenous tribes, bands, nations in New England.

We need your support to provide a first time experience. Native youth have a deeper connection to the land in which skiing and snowboarding take place. The land is their ancestors homeland.

Please consider donating to our donation page below. Your donation will assist in the costs (lift tickets, transportation, food, and gear) which we all know are the barriers to entry.

Remeber the priceless moment is a smile on a young persons face when they accomplish / ski down a slope and stop for the first time.

If we dont share the sport with others, the sport will die.
