As you know, our country Ethiopia is in a state of emergency. Despite achieving victory in the civil war against the TPLF, a war the country wanted to avoid but obligated to get engaged to end it, its people in the Amhara and Afar regions are left with an emergent need of restoration of all the basic infrastructures destroyed by TPLF. The community that lost most of its loved ones is left with even a long-lasting sorrow and suffering as a result.

We all have shown our deep love for our country by stepping up to support at such a time of need in recent weeks. We are grateful for all your contributions.

We, the Northern California Ethiopian community, have come together to do our part by taking the responsibility of restoring four health centers in the Northern Wollo and Afar regions, each supporting 4-5 additional smaller clinics, a task assigned to us by the Health Minister of Ethiopia.

We invite your participation in upcoming programs we are organizing to learn more about the damaged medical facilities the Northern California Ethiopian community is sponsoring and do our part in every way we can to help restore them:

We aim to raise $900,000 US dollars to complete the restoration of these four health centers online and in-person events.
