This season, the Young Associates Council is thrilled to sponsor Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony + Timpani World Premiere.  Help the YAC reach it's $15,000 goal to sponsor this highly anticipated concert, featuring a world premiere written especially for Houston Symphony Musician and YAC member, Leo Soto. 

As of 4pm on March 6, the YAC has already raised $14,714 toward our $15,000 sponsorship goal. We are now just $286 away from fully funding this important concert sponsorship—and we need your help to close the gap.

About the Concert

The most famous four notes in history launch a towering masterpiece for the ages in Beethoven’s legendary Fifth Symphony. Award-winning composer Andy Akiho is known for bold, immersive music that shatters preconceptions, and you do not want to miss the world premiere of his Timpani Concerto, written especially for Houston Symphony Principal Timpanist Leonardo Soto.
