YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

Over 20 years ago, local Youth for Christ and community leaders had a vision for a Center in Kankakee which would serve as a safe location where kids could meet on a weekly basis for fun activities and have an opportunity to hear the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ. Since the purchase of the center in 2001, we have held weekly events and hosted thousands of kids at out Kankakee City Life Center. This annual fund raise event will allow us to have the resources needed to continue this vital community ministry for years to come.

The recently awarded R3 grant was provided to specifically focus on areas of Kankakee with that are under resourced and have the greatest incidences of crime and violence. Our students will be riding to focus attention and to raise funds for the City Life Center in order to continue supporting kids from the north and east sides of Kankakee.
