Philosophy: (It’s not the movement’s job to have demands. If you think you’re part of the 99 percent, it’s your job!)

Mission: To Organize, Educate, Inform, Engage, Empower and Mobilize individuals, communities, and organizations in the struggle to end austerity measures and build a society rooted in consensus-building, horizontal decision-making, and economic justice for all. Focused on: Social. Political, Economic and Environmental Justice.

What We Do: We focus on developing and implementing grassroots actions, mobilizations, training and outreach-though internal and external projects and programs. The areas of focus are Social. Political, Economic and Environmental Justice related issues on the local and state level.

Plus supporting campaigns developed by those with-in the O.W.S. and occupy network and our sister organizations.

Our History: O.W.S. Special Projects Affinity Group or (S.P.A.G.). was Founded in November 2011, and initially was composed of members from O.W.S. working groups, and non work group members, that were and are supporters of the core objectives of the Occupy Wall Street action. O.W.S. and Occupy Movement.

Projects that the group initially dealt with were those that fall outside the frame work of a single work group and required quick action to implement and those that would be hampered by the normal process within most work groups at the time.
