Mission Statement- "Honoring, sharing, and preserving cultural knowledge of the land as a means of reviving Indigenous ancestral practices and building sovereign communities."
Our goals include:
- promoting the importance of Indigenous-managed natural spaces and sharing Indigenous land management practices
- making Indigenous medicine practices accessible and sharing Indigenous plant food and medicine teachings
- practicing Indigenous restorative justice and community care practices
Our programming includes:
The People's Clinic - a harm reduction focused, botanically integrative, mobile community clinic that does direct outreach work with the unhoused and housed community in SATX, St. Paul, MN and remote off-grid work with the Dine' community.
Virtual Community Care Circle - monthly online care gathering to decompress and process
Sowing La Futura - interactive educational programming for the community
*The Land Back Project- a biodiversity Indigenous Land Management project focused on teaching the community to move in reciprocity with the land.
*Indigenous Harm Reduction Training- Indigenous Harm Reduction practices for moving with compassion and love with substance users in your life.
*Thrivalism 101 - herbalism, first aid, land stewardship, wilderness skills for autonomy and resilience. (This class is in partnership with Corazon Day Center for the Unhoused)
