Young Lung Cancer Initiative provides visibility, empowerment, hope, and resources for young adults and families dealing with a lung cancer diagnosis.

For the majority of young adults, a disease like lung cancer comes as a complete shock. Most patients never even knew they were at risk. They do not qualify for early detection screening. As a result, a high percentage of patients are diagnosed after the disease has spread to other parts of the body and there is no cure. As team members with our own lung cancer stories, we understand from personal experience, the extreme burden this diagnosis takes on younger patients who are in the prime of their lives.

Donations:

Your donation will directly support our programs that personally benefit the patients within our community. Some examples of future programs include:

Stipends for second opinion travel
Stipends for bucket list travel
Scholarships for children of young lung cancer patients
Financial support for costs associated with treatment
